back when it was brand new! Click the image and it will take you to a really cool flickr set of old DC photos. I was just thumbing through it and bam, there was my house! Turns out my building dates from about 1910. I love the car in front - lots more parking in Mount Pleasant in those days, I guess.

Not nearly as impressive as it was earlier, but I didn't have my camera... I had 35 needle sticks! And I didn't even pass out! I just got really dizzy and sweaty and had to lie down for an hour.

The verdict? I am allergic to:
Dogs,
Feathers,
Early trees,
Late trees,
Mixed weeds,
Ragweed,
Grasses,
Brewer's yeast (huh?),
Dust, and
Dust mites.

The remedy? High powered prescription meds and 6 months of weekly shots, plus 3-5 years of monthly shots after that. We'll see.

What I'd like most in all the world right now

is a sunny eat-in kitchen with a big table where I can roll out biscuit dough and have my friends over for supper sometimes.
